因而在现今的汽车接插件设计中,针对重要工况的回路,在考虑汽车出现特殊状况时候,仍然能保持正常工作,因而在Pin针的初始设计时候,特殊要求回路pin针会比其他的Pin高出0.8mm-1.2mm;相对于传统的接插件检测除了原有的外观以及正位度检测外,追加了pin针高度差检测需求。亦除了平面x,y方向的2D检测需求还追加了Z向成为3D检测的需求。
